Bagpress venturi powered vacuum press - BPPN21

Vacuum pressing is the most effective way to clamp veneering work and light weight laminations, providing an even and massive clamping pressure over the whole surface. By extracting the air from the vacuum bag and creating a vacuum the full weight of atmospheric pressure bears down on the contents of the bag exerting an evenly distributed pressure of around 7 tons per square metre. By using your own standard air compressor instead of an expensive vacuum pump the cost of the unit is minimised while the effectiveness of operation is not. Needing only 10 cfm to function, a standard compressor of around 2-3 hp is all that is necessary to develop 70% vacuum in only 2 minutes. The extra large capacity 2,500 x 1,300mm heavy duty 300 micron vacuum bag is supplied as standard and will accommodate almost any project. If you are laminating with a vacuum press it is only necessary to provide a one piece former as the vacuum bag will provide an even pressure as it moulds the timber into the shape of the former.

eritäin hyvä pussi saa tehtyä vaikeita muotoja puristettua. itsellä ollut ongelmia että pussin jos jostain vuotaa niin ei saa hyvä puristus painetta vaikka olisi pieni vuoto ja sitä ei aina huomaa. toinen voisi laitaa että pussin sisällä ei tule kompressorille letku vain sen joutuu tekemään itse. toinen on se että muistaa että laitaa huopa venttiili kohtaa muuten pussi ei saavuta tarpeeksi alipainetta.

We now offer three different sizes of venturi with varying vacuum flow rates and air supply requirements. Avoid purchasing a venturi system that requires more air than your compressor can comfortably supply on a continuous basis as you will run the risk of permanently damaging it.
